B-24H-30-FO Liberator #42-95379, nicknamed "Extra Joker" on mission out of Foggia, Italy to bomb the airdrome at Markersdorf, Austria, was shot up by a German Fw-190A-8 and caught on fire then exploded near Türnitz, Austria, killing the 10-man crew. Missing Air Crew Report № 7956.
